Why have a glamour, boudoir or fine art portrait done?

Perhaps you just would like to feel reassured how beautiful you are. Our session can really boost your confidence and empower you as a woman.

Why choose Renata as your photographer?
Renata has many years of experience as a photographer, digital artist and retoucher. She is a two time winner of the “Popular Photography” magazine first prize in Glamour Photography competition. Her photographs were chosen from thousands of entries.
She is well known for her stylish, alluring, and sexy, but at the same time very tasteful and elegant looking work. She will know how to make you comfortable in front of the camera, even if it would be your first to be photographed by a professional photographer. We invite you to book a free consultation with her before your photo session, so you can get to know each other and discuss which package, style of make-up, outfits and poses would be best for you. Our sessions typically last about 2-3 hours and we don’t like to rush you. You will have time to relax and look your best. Additional studio time could be requested, if available, at $150 per hour.
Renata works with some of the best professional make-up artists in the GTA who can help you to achieve amazing looks. Your pictures will be taken in professional studio settings and we can also shoot on location, to be discussed before your photo session. For location shoots, some additional fees may apply.
How to book the session and make your payment?
You can book your session via phone, e-mail, or in person when you meet with Renata for your free consultation. Please see “contact us” page for more info.
Your session is payable in 2 installments. Once you choose your package and session time, a 50% booking fee is required. Please note that deposits are non-refundable. To reschedule your appointment, 3 day notice is required, or you will lose your deposit.
The remaining 50% plus applicable taxes (HST) is due on the day of the shoot. The booking fee should be received no later than 10 days before the day of your session to hold the session booking time.
We accept cash, checks, money orders, as well PayPal and major credits cards via our online payment. Please note that HST tax will be added to all fees.
We do extensive retouching to the final images you purchase called “glamour retouch”. We will make your skin looking as beautiful as possible by removing blemishes, perfecting skin tone, erasing or softening some wrinkles and otherwise making your skin look as smooth as possible, without overdoing it, so you will still look yourself. We can also make you look a few pounds slimmer and do other subtle enhancements to your body to make sure you look great.
What is not included: If you have extensive tattoos or scars and would like them removed, additional payment of $50 per hour of digital work may be required.
Fantasy art and composite images are available at additional cost.
How to prepare for the photo session?
We advise you to come well rested, so you will look your best. Do not wear any make-up if you have booked the session with the make-up artist included in the package. Just wash your face and apply some good moisturizer. Have your hair styled before the session, or if hair styling is included in your session fee, just wash your hair a day before and do not apply any styling products.
Do not do any drastic treatments like peeling to your body, or redness may be still visible a few days later. Please pay attention to any details of your body, which might be visible in the pictures, including fingernails. Also please do not use any perfumes since some people participating in the photoshoot might be allergic to them.
And most important of all, we want you to bring a good humor and really have fun during the session. Don’t worry, we know how to make you look your best.
Clothing and Accessories:
Do not wear any tight clothing before the session or it might leave marks that could last for hours. This is particularly important if you are booking boudoir/nude session where some parts or most of your body will be visible.
Please choose clothing in which you feel beautiful and comfortable, but try to avoid outfits with strong patterns, stripes and logos, unless previously agreed with the photographer. It is better to bring more, than not enough in case something doesn’t wok out well. We can also help you to choose, or suggest the best outfits during our free initial consultation. Please also bring accessories you would like to use like jewelry, hats, belts and shoes. You are also welcome to bring a variety of props which you would like to use. They can help you to relax and tell more about your personality.
Is bringing music to the session a good idea?
You are welcome to bring music you like and music player if it will help you to relax or inspire you, but please do not bring hard rock or other music, which could be to loud. Renata reserves the right to ask you to change, or turn off the music if she finds it too noisy or distracting and if it makes difficult to communicate with your during the session.
Can I bring a friend?
If it would make you feel more comfortable, you can come with a friend to keep you company, but please let us know in advance. It is generally not advisable to bring husbands or boyfriend to the photoshoot since their presence might be distracting to you and could prevent you from acting naturally, in a relaxed way during the photoshoot.

What is your cancellation policy?
The session booking fee is no-refundable. Once we received your 50% deposit confirming your booking time, you can reschedule the session up 3 times with 3 days notice. If you cancel your session less than 3 days in advance, you will lose your deposit. We might agree to reschedule without losing your deposit fee, in case you have booked an outdoor photoshoot and the weather is not permitting us to photograph you outside. In this case we could consider rescheduling without losing deposit with only 24 hours notice.
What do you deliver after the session?
Once we photograph you, we will edit your pictures to show you the best images from the session in the form of digital proofs in a web gallery, or if you prefer in person. We will usually show you about 30 best images to choose from, unless otherwise agreed. We offer a variety of archival high quality prints and albums to choose from.
You can also buy digital files, a variety of other products, or order additional retouching (if you need some special retouching beyond the glamour retouch already included with final images you order). There is a variety of special printing option, including canvas prints and you can have your final prints framed if you wish. We can give you advice about choosing the right size of prints for your home.
Some session packages include the final prints, digital files or albums and they will be printed, or otherwise delivered to you once you select your final pictures. You will also be able to order some additional products a la carte.
There is the option to ask Renata to create for you unique works of art with your photograph, for which she is well known. Additional fees will apply and you will receive a quote to approve before the work will be done.
Once you order your final products, we will let you know how long it will take to deliver them to you. Generally albums will take longer to be ready than prints since they will have to be designed first.
What are proofs?
Proofs are smaller than original size pictures from your session. They will have our light watermark “proof” on them, as well as our copyright. Please keep in mind that proofs are not finished images and they will be only contrast/colour corrected, but usually not fully retouched or otherwise enhanced files. We will show them to you, so you can choose your favorite photos and decide which one of them you would like to have printed, purchased in the form of digital files on CD, or perhaps used on various other products we offer. Once you choose the photographs you would like to use, we than retouch the final files.
Please allow us about 1 to 2 weeks to show you your proofs. If it would takes us longer that that, we will let you know in advance. The selected best images from the session chosen by Renata will be presented to you in a password protected web gallery. It will be possible to send a link and password to this gallery to anybody you wish, so you will be able to receive advice about choosing your final pictures.
It might be even better and easier for you to meet with Renata in person to view your proofs when she can also show you some samples of products you can choose from.
What are your prices and are they fixed?

Once we have agreed on the price and you have booked your session, we guaranty the price of the session will not changes for you for 3 months from your original booking time. If you reschedule beyond 3 months, prices may change.
Regarding ordering prints and other products, we guaranty our prices for one month from the time we send you a link to your Internet gallery, or personally show you your pictures, whatever comes first. However we can not guaranty that the prices will stay the same indefinitely if you postpone ordering your products, so please make your orders promptly. Thank you.
What if you would like to buy some special products from our website with your pictures printed on them?
You are very welcome to do so, but before you order any products, please contact us since we need to upload high resolution and retouched files for printing. If you have already purchased prints, albums or digital files, retouching of your images was already included in the price, unless otherwise agreed. We just need to upload the retouched high resolution files to “Your Final Selection” gallery, so you can use these images on as many products available from our store there, as you wish.
In case you would like to use other of your pictures from your photo session on the products, you would need to order retouching for these files. The glamour retouch is $30 plus tax for each retouched file.
Is professional make-up and hair styling included?
It depends what option you choose. Up to 2 looks created by one of our make-up artists are included in all boudoir and glamour portraits sessions we offer, unless otherwise noted. It is not included with our nude/portraits sessions, but could be arranged on request for an additional fee. We only use experienced and some of the best make-up artist in town. Having a professional make-up done is highly recommended and will guarantee professional looking results. Photographic makeup is a bit different from a regular make-up, which you might use since it usually needs to be applied heavier for camera and special photographic lights. However, if you are a professional make-up artist and would like to do it yourself, or to have it done before the session by a professional make-up artist, we can lower the price of the package accordingly, depending on the package you choose. Also if you would like to have your hair styled, some basic hair styling is available for additonal $50, but it has to be agreed before the session so we can choose make-up artist who can do it as well.
Who holds the copyright and what is our agreement?
All copyrights to the created images remains with Renata - our photographer. We require you to sign a standard client agreement before the photoshoot to confirm that you understand who is the copyright holder and all the terms. This agreement is also our warranty to you regarding what will be delivered. You will receive a copy of the contract when you sign it. You will be also asked to sign a promotional model release.
Do you offer any warranty?
Yes, we do. If you, are not fully delighted with images we produce during your photo session, we will re-shoot at no extra charge. We can not be held responsible if you fail to appear on time, to cooperate during photography sessions, or if you came not well prepared for the photoshoot. Please see “How to prepare for the photo session” for more info. We are also not responsible for missed images due to details not revealed to us before the session.
All our fine art prints and albums are certified to be fee from all defects due to faulty craftsmanship or materials for a period of 5 years from the date of sale. If flaws shall appear during this time, repairs or replacement will be made by us, at no expense to you.
We can not be held responsible for any damage done to our products, resulting from a neglect of keeping them in a direct sun, places with extra humidity, in too high or too low temperatures, or damages resulting from water spills, fire, and other accidental harm while in your possessions. For our fine art prints and albums, we use only archival, long lasting materials, which should last for many years if kept in recommended for such products environment. Please ask us if you need more info about archival care of your products.
